EVERYONE NEEDS - This Versatile Dress
I recently illustrated live for Hush in Edinburgh at their pop up shop, and for the event they kindly gave me a dress to wear. It’s so versatile and so comfortable that I thought I should share details here on the blog.
It’s 100% viscose and has tiny gold foil arrows printed all over it. It can go in the washing machine, it has pockets, it has sleeves, you can dress it up with heels and down with trainers. It’s my new favourite thing!
I’m a size 14 and often struggle with shirt dresses as the buttons can sometimes pop open. But this dress is roomy at the bust so is fine. However I have started to wear bandeaus and bralets under things like this and do sometimes wear it open (as per the first illustration). I’m getting braver as I get older!
As usual on the blog, I’ve illustrated the same outfit on three people and shown it styled differently. It’s a great one for layering underneath, the midnight blue goes with so many colours (I wore it with my pink Jigsaw wool coat below) and it’s also breastfeeding friendly too.
I’m 5’4 and the dress as on my knee, but as you’ll see below on the model who is 5’10 it’s far shorter. I like that it’s quite long as I felt happy wearing it with bare legs too.
The Emanuelle Dress is available now from Hush and is £69 in sizes 6-16. But don’t hang around - the smaller sizes are already selling out so be quick!
Please note that whilst the dress was given as a gift to me from Hush, this post is not sponsored.
