After years of doing small detailed work, I've relished worked on some recent projects that have required me to work on a much larger scale.
I painted the window of the Accessorize store as part of Bath in Fashion whilst a crowd of onlookers live-streamed my progress. I illustrated girls wearing floral bags and jewellery, firstly by creating black outlines and then filling large areas with colour. The whole piece was done free-hand using acrylic paint and the event lasted 3 hours.
For the Mith Magazine photoshoot I art directed the shoot, hand-painted the 12 ft backdrop and styled the model. There were many layers and processes to painting the backdrop. I used household paint and it took 3 days.
