CINDERELLA GOES TO THE ETHICUREAN
There's so much I love about working on this blog. Firstly I get to paint to my own brief, I'm photographed in fancy clothes and I'm able to hand pick beautiful locations in which to shoot. And the great news is I'm now getting sponsored posts too, so it means I can carry on with the formula and still pay the bills. Happy happy.
For my recent photoshoot I headed to The Ethicurean, a secret treasure of a restaurant tucked away in a stunning Victorian walled garden, with views of the Mendip Hills.
The gardens are full of vegetables that are used in the kitchen and the walls are dripping with fruit that are turned into jams and preserves, it's a simple place and for me it really holds some magic.
I need to make a return trip to The Ethicurean again soon, as I 'accidentally' left behind a shoe after the shoot. I've decided that when I'm there it would be rude not to sample a full vegetarian feast, so I will keep you posted of how that goes!
During my shoot I did manage to taste a delicious almond & chai cake and a flat white, and if they are anything to go by I'll soon be leaving a shoe behind every time I visit.....
A big thank you to Iain and Matthew Pennington for allowing us to use your beautiful space as our location.
